Tamil Nadu Police arrested 5 Muslims who involved in October 23 Coimbatore Terror Blast

Police in Tamil Nadu have arrested five Muslim men who were associates of Jameesha Mubin (25) who was burned to death under suspicious circumstances after an LPG cylinder inside the Maruti 800 he was driving exploded near a temple.

Jameesha Mubin, has been registered as the primary accused in the case after previously being questioned by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in 2019 according to reports, for his ties to a terrorist network linked to Zahran Hashim, the mastermind of the Easter Sunday bombings in Sri Lanka.

The five people arrested on Monday night are:

  2. Muhammad Azharudheen (25)
  3. Muhammad Riyas (27)
  4. Firoz Ismail (27)
  5. Muhammad Nawaz Ismail (27)
