'Allah's anger will burn Israel'; The Turkish MP collapsed and died before he could continue his speech.

A Turkish parliament member, Hasan Bitmez, collapsed and died shortly after denouncing Israel’s attacks on Gaza and warning of Allah’s wrath.

Bitmez, 53, was a diabetic and had been rushed to the hospital after fainting in the parliament. He had said that Israel could not escape Allah’s anger by trying to eliminate the Palestinian Muslims and that history and truth would not remain silent.

Bitmez was a member of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) and a vocal supporter of the Palestinian cause.
