Three Ustads Arrested for Sexual Abuse at Madrassa in Nedumangad, Kerala

Three ustads, including a native of Uttar Pradesh, have been arrested in connection with the sexual abuse of children at a madrassa in Nedumangad. The accused, L Siddique (24), S Muhammed Shameer (28), and Muhammed Rasal (28), had been running the madrassa for a year.

The complaint alleges that the children were sexually abused multiple times. The accused did not confess to the crime, and a complaint was lodged with the Child Welfare Committee.

The investigation was supervised by district police chief Kiran Narayan, and a team of officials arrested the accused. They were produced in court and remanded.
