IS publishes a video of fresh recruits from India vowing to carry out Islamic Jihad

In a recent video, the Islamic State (IS) claimed to have prepared at least three modules in India. The Islamic State fighters are seen in the footage joining three distinct groups. The 4-minute video was issued by ISHP (Islamic State Hind Province).

At 1 p.m. on March 25, the video was posted on the encrypted messaging app Telegram, saying that three distinct groups of IS militants swore jihad in India in the name of the IS caliph.

To fool the intelligence authorities, the combatants have their faces covered and their eyes obscured. To evade monitoring, the Islamic State has also modified the pitch of the persons speaking in the video.

In the video, IS militant Abu Turab Al Hindi claims that numerous Indian males have joined the Islamic State.

Previously, the terrorist organisation had been dismantled as a result of the NIA's quick response. In the last two years, the NIA and other intelligence services have apprehended more than 20 persons, thwarting their intentions.

Cyber specialists who performed forensic research on the video allege that it appears to have been shot in Kashmir, despite the fact that it was distributed on Telegram from Pakistan.

Terrorists can be observed with small weaponry and practising target shooting.

The most apparent aspect of this footage is that all of the terrorists believed to be IS members are holding small guns, leading intelligence services to believe that this is a local module whose goal is target killing. The footage was created in response to a wave of targeted killings in Jammu & Kashmir.

Other states' residents in Jammu and Kashmir were targeted. Following the executions, the Islamic State claimed responsibility in a video. All of the killings were done using tiny guns.

The ISI, Pakistan's intelligence organisation, carries out terrorist activities in India under the guise of the Islamic State.

Pakistan and its intelligence agency, ISI, which has become notorious for housing and fostering terrorists, try to spread terror throughout India, particularly Jammu and Kashmir, by forming new terrorist organisations under different identities.

Terrorist attacks in Kashmir have previously been carried out by new terrorist organisations such as the Islamic State and the TRF. The Indian intelligence agencies suspect that the ISI in Pakistan is behind this effort.

It is their tactical strategy to create fresh terrorists and local modules to carry out militancy in the Valley in order to avoid suspicion from ISIS. The intelligence agencies in India are keeping a careful eye on this footage.
